Falling Pickaxe Casino Game for Real Money

You place a bet, the reel picks a pickaxe, and the pickaxe drops into a shaft of blocks. Every copper, gold, diamond or emerald block it smashes adds to your win, until the pickaxe runs out of durability. One round takes about twenty seconds.

Falling Pickaxe: a diamond pickaxe falls through copper, redstone and gold blocks, with block values shown on screen

What game is this?

If you saw a clip of a pixel pickaxe smashing through ore blocks at a casino, the game is Falling Pickaxe by Pixmove Games. Pixmove released it in June 2026 as an instant game: no paylines, just a reel and a shaft of blocks. The style borrows from Minecraft, but Mojang has nothing to do with it.

Two other things share the name. A free streamer game called Falling Pickaxe lets a Twitch or YouTube chat steer the pickaxe; that one lives on GitHub and has no bets. MineDrop is a different mining game from another studio. This guide covers the Pixmove casino game.

How a round works

Set the bet

Pick your stake. The block values scale with it.

Spin the reel

The reel shows a cross or a pickaxe: Wooden, Stone, Iron or Diamond.

Watch it fall

The pickaxe drops through the shaft and breaks blocks. Each block costs it some durability.

Collect the ore

Every copper, redstone, gold, diamond and emerald block adds its value. The round ends at zero HP.

Four pickaxes and their durability

The reel lands on a cross or on one of four pickaxes. A cross means no drop. After seven crosses in a row, the eighth spin always gives a pickaxe. More HP means the pickaxe falls deeper and breaks more blocks.

What each block pays

Only ore blocks pay. Dirt and stone just wear the pickaxe down. The value is a multiple of your bet, paid for every block the pickaxe breaks:

Block · Pays per block · At a 1.00 bet

Copper
x0.010.01
Redstone
x0.050.05
Gold
x0.20.2
Diamond
x11
Emerald
x55
Redstone and gold ore blocks with their values, 1.50 for redstone at a 30 bet

At a bet of 30 the game shows 0.30 on copper, 1.50 on redstone, 6.00 on gold and 30.00 on diamond. The biggest possible win in one round is 160x the bet.

TNT, the arrow and the workbench

TNT

Blows up the blocks around it and clears a wide hole in the shaft.

Upgrade arrow

Makes the pickaxe 1.5 times bigger for three seconds, so it cuts a wider path. Arrows stack to 2x and 2.5x.

Workbench

Restores the pickaxe to full durability and raises it one tier, so a Stone pickaxe becomes Iron.

Bonus Buy: start with the pickaxe you want

Bonus Buy skips the reel and drops the pickaxe you pick. The price depends on the pickaxe, as a multiple of your base bet:

PickaxeDurabilityBonus Buy pricePrice per 100 HP
Wooden100 HP2.99x2.99x
Stone150 HP5.65x3.77x
Iron200 HP8.44x4.22x
Diamond400 HP10.5x2.62x
Falling Pickaxe Buy Bonus menu: Wooden for 89.70, Stone for 169.50 and Iron for 253.20 at a base bet of 30

Per 100 HP of durability, the Diamond pickaxe is the cheapest one to buy. That still doesn't guarantee a bigger win: the blocks in the shaft are random every round.
